We are delighted to announce that Miia Laukkarinen has joined Erevena as a Partner, based in our newly established Helsinki office.
Miia brings extensive experience in executive search and venture capital, with a strong track record of working with technology companies at every stage, from Series A startups through to multi-billion-dollar unicorns. At Erevena, Miia will focus on Board, CEO and senior leadership searches for investor-backed technology companies across Europe, as well as supporting European companies scaling into the US and US companies expanding into Europe.
Prior to joining Erevena, Miia spent over a decade at Bessemer Venture Partners, where she was VP of Global Talent. In this role, she partnered with portfolio companies on their leadership hiring needs, supporting businesses such as Shippo, Hibob, Pipedrive, Dashlane, DeepL, Twilio, Procore, and Toast. Earlier in her career, she was an instrumental member of the venture capital and technology practices at Heidrick & Struggles and Spencer Stuart.
After almost three decades living and working in Silicon Valley, Miia has returned home to Europe and is now based in Helsinki, Finland. She is passionate about helping Nordic and European companies connect with world-class leadership talent to scale globally.

Miia’s arrival marks another step in Erevena’s growth journey. Earlier this year, Dan Hyde moved into the role of Executive Chair after 22 years as CEO, with Jonas Helgesson promoted to CEO, Danielle Le Toullec joining as Chief Marketing Officer, and John Smith appointed as Partner in June. Together with Miia, these leadership changes strengthen Erevena’s ability to support clients globally and reflect the firm’s continued investment in building a world-class team.
