We are delighted to continue our partnership with Anthropic through the successful appointment of three Regional EMEA Leadership roles: Pip White as Head of UK&I and Northern Europe, Thomas Remy as Head of Southern EMEA, and Roman Howe as Head of DACH and CEE. This trio of appointments marks a significant milestone in Anthropic’s European expansion strategy and builds upon our previous collaboration on the appointment of Paul Smith as Chief Commercial Officer and Chris Ciauri as Managing Director of International in 2025.
These appointments support Anthropic’s enterprise growth across Europe, bringing experienced leadership to the company’s most strategic markets.
Anthropic’s EMEA strategy centres on three priority regions: UKI and Northern Europe, Southern EMEA, and DACH/CEE, each requiring leaders able to build and scale go-to-market organisations for enterprise customers.
“Europe is home to some of the world’s most important and forward-thinking companies,” said Chris Ciauri, Anthropic’s Managing Director of International. “The business leaders I speak to are clear-eyed on both the immense opportunity that AI development represents and the critical importance of safety, reliability, and public trust. With a bigger, broader, and highly specialized leadership team, we’re doubling down on sustained EMEA growth and building the team our European users need.”
The Appointments
Erevena conducted comprehensive, targeted searches to identify and secure three exceptional leaders, each bringing distinct expertise perfectly matched to their respective regions.
Pip White, appointed Head of UK&I and Northern Europe, is a seasoned global executive with 25 years of experience leading teams at enterprise technology leaders including Salesforce, Google, and HPE. Most recently, she led global sales operations at The Access Group. Prior to that, she played a pivotal role in integrating Slack following its acquisition and driving new revenue streams across the region. Pip’s experience operating at Anthropic’s current and projected scale provided immediate confidence in her ability to lead one of the company’s most strategic markets.
Thomas Remy, now Head of Southern EMEA, spent 11 years at Google Cloud where he built their Data Analytics and AI GTM team and strategy across EMEA. Joining as employee number 15 in the region, Thomas held multiple leadership positions throughout his tenure and developed an intimate understanding of how to scale AI and data offerings in enterprise markets. His ability to create and build successful teams from the ground up in high-growth environments made him the natural choice for leading Anthropic’s expansion across Southern Europe.
Roman Howe, appointed as Head of DACH and CEE, brings over 20 years of experience building and scaling technology teams across Central Europe. His career began at IBM before progressing through leadership positions at Salesforce, culminating in his most recent role as CRO at FactFinder. Roman’s experience spans both large-scale enterprise environments and smaller, high-growth companies, providing him with the versatile skill set needed to establish Anthropic’s presence in a diverse and strategically important region.
