Erevena Strengthens Nordic Leadership With Katrine Folkersen’s Promotion to Partner

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Katrine Folkersen to Partner, based in Erevena’s Copenhagen office. 

Katrine joined Erevena in 2021 as a Senior Associate and has played a key role in building our presence across Northern Europe. In this role, she focuses on working with Venture Capital and Private Equity-backed companies and supporting C-level hiring for high-growth software businesses across the region. In doing so, she partners closely with founders, boards, and investors at critical stages of scale. 

Since joining the firm, Katrine has developed a strong reputation for her thoughtful, detailed and rigorous approach to executive search. Her experience spans Board, General Management as well as commercial and technical leadership roles.  

Katrine joined to launch our Copenhagen office in 2021 and has played a crucial part in building Erevena to the leading technology executive search firm in the Nordics supporting clients including Trackunit, Leapwork, Bullwall, Roima Technologies and Emnify.  

Prior to Erevena, Katrine worked at Korn Ferry within the European Technology Practice. During this time, she appointed senior executives across the Telecoms and Consumer Tech sectors. This background has given her a strong foundation in complex, international leadership mandates. It has also given her a deep understanding of how technology businesses evolve as they grow. 

Katrine holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam. She brings a distinctly international perspective to her work, supporting clients across Northern Europe and beyond.
