Search Background
A founder-run business with strong European heritage, which has enjoyed multiple years of hyper growth in North America, the business was looking to replicate this success in the EMEA region. Hence the desire to bring in a phenomenal Head of EMEA to lead the growth of the team and the region more broadly.
Requirements
Our stakeholder Aaron Naldoza was looking for a proven commercial leader who had extensive experience of building and scaling teams throughout Europe. They would ideally have experience working with both US and European led businesses in both large and scale up environments. Crucially, they would have to have a strong track record in both high volume SaaS sales as well as big ticket enterprise deals.
Result
Richard Conway joined Front as Head of EMEA Sales in October 2022. Richard was instrumental in scaling DocuSign across EMEA in some of their most difficult and emerging markets over the last 3 years. A notorious high performer, Richard has a reputation for building the strongest teams and attracting top talent into his parts of the business. Aside from having founded and sold his own businesses, worked across multiple sectors, and having a stellar SaaS sales track record Richard was also a brilliant cultural fit for the business aligning with their values of transparency and collaboration.
