Wakeo is on a mission to turn the supply chain from reactive to proactive. Real time visibility (RTV) and ETA planning has fast become the holy grail of global supply chain and Wakeo represents one of the most disruptive prospects to date in the air and sea supply chain markets.
Having recently closed a $9M funding round lead by 360 Capital Partners, Wakeo now boasts a staff of 30 people across France and the UAE.
Wakeo needed an innovative, high-energy sales leader to help them capitalize on their domestic success in France. The VP of Sales would be responsible for developing and implementing new go to market strategies to broaden their reach across Europe and beyond. They needed a hands-on leader, willing to get directly involved in the sales cycles with current clients, hunt new business and build out the existing sales team.
Erevena Growth were selected to complete the search based on their extensive track record of success in supporting fast growing SaaS businesses in identifying and attracting senior talent across EMEA.
Wakeo have a solution that is disrupting a traditional market, digitizing logistics processes, and providing greater visibility to complex supply chains. Selling their solution into tier one enterprises with the potential for long complex sales cycles required a sales leader with experience of successfully scaling a SaaS business, with a strong track record of success, preferably where they have disrupted a traditional market.
After a competitive process of shortlisting 9 potential candidates who were reviewed and interviewed by Wakeo, Erevena identified Matthieu Cévaer, the former European VP Sales for Trace One and COO of hellomybot.io as the preferred candidate. Matthieu has built his career on developing highly successful SaaS sales teams, growing Trace One from pre-seed funding to 35 million euros turnover and 200 employees.
