Search Background

FintechOS had closed a Series B funding round led by Draper Esprit and needed to hire an SVP Product to work closely with Teo (CEO), Mike (SVP Strategy) and Remco (CTO) on overall product strategy with an immediate focus on building a market leading no/low-code solution. This executive would be responsible for the performance, strategy and alignment of FintechOS’ product operations; inspiring to lift all product functions within the organization.

Following the successful hire of Mike Fullalove, SVP Business Development and Strategy, FintechOS chose to partner again with Erevena for this key hire.

Requirements

The successful candidate needed to be an experienced product leader within the Fintech ecosystem, ideally with a background in building and launching a no/low code solution, focused on Europe and the US. The ideal candidate would have contributed significantly to overall company strategy, led high quality product teams and would be tasked with ensuring all teams delivered against the ambitious product vision.

Result

Erevena identified and introduced Márcio Spínola to FintechOS. He had previously been CPO for Vision-Box a Digital Identity Management business where he was responsible for the entire product portfolio and roadmap. Prior, he spent 11 years at OutSystems where he started as a sales engineer across EMEA before building a leading a team of Product Managers as VP of Product Management where he helped define and execute Product Strategy and Roadmap, yielding numerous internal awards and externally cementing their place as a global leader in the low/no code space.
