Still a Founder-run business with strong European heritage, Frontify had enjoyed several years of high-double and triple-digit ARR growth. The existing SLT had built a strong team of 200+ and the company was already boasting an impressive roster of clients. However, with a huge (and largely untapped) opportunity ahead of them in North America and an already sizable revenue team that was getting larger by the day, the need for an experience Chief Revenue Officer was becoming very apparent.
Frontify required an experienced, commercial leader who could take ownership for the sales, marketing and customer success functions globally. They would have a strong track-record in (and have hiring network across) EMEA and the USA, would have operational experience at Frontify’s stage of maturity and beyond and ideally understand the broader martech SaaS landscape.
Tim Frankcom joined Frontify as Chief Revenue Officer in July 2021. Tim was employee #100 at Criteo and spent nearly 7 years building their mid-market business from 0-500+ staff from zero to several hundred million dollars in gross revenues across EMEA, USA and APAC. More recently, he was CRO at Smartly.io, a Helsinki based social media advertising company.
