Interactio provides modern, easy to use, remote interpretation solutions for online meetings, press conferences, conventions and much more. The company was founded in 2014 in Lithuania as an app to turn mobile phones into a microphone. As the founders developed the product and added new features, Interactio transformed into a market leading remote interpretation solution and started to expand into the Government and Corporate sectors disrupting incumbent hardware and software technology.
Interactio had raised a $30m Series A in May 2021 after usage of its tools grew 12x between 2019 and 2020 as demand for online meeting platforms surged during the coronavirus pandemic. The Series A funding is led by Eight Roads Ventures and Silicon Valley-based Storm Ventures, along with participation from Practica Capital, Notion Capital, as well as notable angels such as Jaan Tallinn, the co-founder of Skype, and Young Sohn, ex-chief strategy officer of Samsung.
Interactio was seeking a Chief Revenue Officer with a track record of scaling high-growth, global enterprise software businesses. The CRO would have worldwide responsibility for the go-to-market strategy for the business, including enterprise sales, account based marketing, direct sales, channel sales, sales development, strategic partnerships, pre-sales, professional services and sales operations.
The ideal candidate will have been through a hypergrowth B2B SaaS business, creating sales functions from scratch and driving the revenue journey from $5-$100m. The candidate will be hands on in nature and comfortable working with ambiguity as they set and build the sales organisation internationally – across EMEA, USA, Asia and Latin America.
Erevena identified and introduced Gary Nolan to Interactio who had recently exited Sysnet after securing Growth Equity from FTV Capital and True Wind Capital. He came with a strong experience of rapidly growing successful sales organisations at LogMeIn and Sysnet and a strong understanding of the core customer base for Interactio. He was hungry to join another rapid growth B2B SaaS business and the alignment was clear for both Gary and Interactio from the early stages.
