Healios is pioneering the world’s first digitalisation of NHS Mental Health Trust outpatient services. By blending innovative technology with specialised clinical expertise, they enable children, young people, adults, and their families to receive personalised support from the comfort of their homes.
Healios are reshaping how mental health and neurodevelopmental services are delivered in the UK (and ultimately globally) – and changing the lives of thousands of families for the better.
The Chief Product Officer would be responsible for all product strategy and execution as the business continues to build highly engaging, mobile first products for the customers as well as data-rich products for healthcare professionals. Product strategy was previously led by the founder and CEO, Richard Andrews, so we were looking for a CPO with experience of working closely with founders and an ability to take an existing product strategy and enable it to become more effective than could previously be imagined through exceptional product foundations. An ability to mentor and scale a team of PMs was also critical.
Working closely with the team at Healios and Albion Capital, Erevena were retained to find a Chief Product Officer.
The executive would provide guidance and leadership as the company grows across the UK and into the US. For the role, we were looking for someone that is excited about the mission of Healios and who could provide some experience of working with technology in regulated sectors.
Lydia Goldberg started as Healios’ Chief Product Officer in September 2021 after being introduced by Erevena. Lydia is an experienced product leader with experience in building product portfolios across mobile and web with professional and consumer end-users. Her experience includes working in real estate, employee engagement software, media, and marketplaces. She is experienced in working with founder-led companies and considers product leadership to be the mouthpiece of the founder and transforming their vision into an actionable and achievable strategy that will help to scale the company. At Zoopla she built consumer mobile products, web products and the internal tools used to run the business (including the database and platform for 19,000 estate agents).
These hires were absolute game changers for Healios. The scorecards for each role described a rare blend of attributes, aptitude and attitude. Our answer for both hires came when we looked outside the specific healthcare domain, to cross-fertilise best-in-class functional expertise and scale-up track record, alongside mission alignment. They have both been instrumental in leading Healios into new territory.
