Launched by former Traiana founder Roy Saadon in 2016, AccessFintech is an innovative risk management service for banks and buyside firms. The service helps firms track the trade lifecycle and get a true sense of prioritized risk, across an increasing number of systems. AccessFinTech brings together fintech providers and in-house technology, orchestrating the interaction of the distributed providers and creating a single visual display of the risk of financial transactions in a global sharable view.
Having successfully secured their Series B, AccessFintech was at the start of an aggressive scale up journey, and whilst early on that journey, they sought to find an experienced CFO who could partner with Roy and the founding team to ensure they capitalize on the significant opportunity ahead.
Because of the global nature of the business and its customer set, it was critical we found a CFO with experience of operating in both Europe and the US, and with the business growing so quickly, a candidate who had experience of going through that same journey before was important in order to navigate the road ahead. Understanding of enterprise SaaS and Financial Services as well as possessing a strong FP&A bent and experience of fund raising were also priority factors.
AccessFintech successfully appointed Chris Bujakowski. Chris has more than 20 years finance and operations experience in the technology sector. His expertise is in enterprise B2B software as a service, building and scaling infrastructure to support multi-million-dollar recurring revenues.
Prior to AccessFintech, Chris was CFO at cloud-native core banking platform provider Thought Machine where he built out the global finance, legal & operations functions and successfully led their Series B round. Prior to Thought Machine, Chris spent five years at SAP as COO of the SMB Group and prior to that, seven years at NetSuite as Head of International Finance & Operations, overseeing international revenue growth to more than $100m.
