Erevena announce Hazel Mulhare joins as Partner specializing in Deep Tech

Erevena are delighted to announce that Hazel Mulhare has joined as a Partner to focus on the increasing demand for executive talent in deep tech venture-backed companies.

Hazel was most recently Principal and Head of Talent at Oxford Sciences Innovation (OSI), a £615m fund backed by the likes of Google, Tencent and Sequoia which invests in technology and science spin outs with IP from Oxford University. OSI invests in ideas from the maths, physical, life sciences; medical sciences; computer sciences and engineering divisions, often investing in a technology at the pre-team stage. Hazel worked with academic founders and entrepreneurs-in-residence to build founding teams. She also advised OSI portfolios on their executive hires and built out an advisor and non-exec network.

Prior to OSI Hazel worked at Dore Partnership, where she focused on Chief Data, Technology and Product searches for Financial Technology and FS. Before this she was Director and Head of High Growth at Kea Consultants where she worked with leading Venture Capital, Growth and Private Equity funds, and VC/PE backed businesses. She is from Dublin and holds an MA(Hons) from Trinity College Dublin. She was a delegate of the Irish Global Economic Forum and was one of the Irish Independent’s 30 under 30 shaping Ireland’s future in 2014.
