Erevena Expand Executive Search Reach With San Francisco Partner - Sunny McCall
Sunny McCall Joins Erevena as Partner, Former Khosla Ventures, True Search, and Dropbox.
We are delighted to announce that Sunny McCall has joined Erevena, based in our San Francisco office, where she will lead the firm’s presence in the US.
Sunny was previously a Talent Partner at Khosla Ventures, one of Silicon Valley’s leading venture capital firms managing over $15B in assets, before founding Sunny Talent to advise founders and leadership teams on executive search, leadership strategy, and coaching. She was also a Partner in the Go-to-Market and People practices at True Search and began her career at Heidrick & Struggles and Korn Ferry.
“What attracted me to Erevena was the combination of exceptional people, a truly international perspective, and the opportunity to help build the firm’s next chapter in the US. Erevena has earned an outstanding reputation over the past 20 years, and I’m excited to continue to grow that same reputation in the US. The firm’s focus on CEO, Board, and Go-to-Market leadership is a natural fit with the work I’m most passionate about.”
Jonas Helgesson, CEO at Erevena, commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome Sunny to Erevena. With her long experience in executive search, alongside in-house and venture experience at Dropbox and Khosla Ventures, she understands our clients from every angle. Beyond that, she’s simply a great person and a natural fit for our culture. The US is a very important market for us, both for serving American businesses and funds and for supporting European companies expanding into the market.”
Dan Hyde, Executive Chair at Erevena, added:
“We have been very thoughtful about the ways in which we meet the demand we see in the US market. Sunny is a key piece of the jigsaw that we have been searching for. With deep networks, a great reputation in delivery and a consistent set of values, she is an amazing fit for our team, and we can’t wait to get started!”
