Through their secure and intuitive mobile app and learning portal, Oviva offers personalised support to patients who can log a wide variety of information such as pictures of meals, activity and weight with trackers, or ask questions. They receive personalised plans, interactive educational material and support & advice from professional therapists.

Search Background

As Oviva closed their Series B funding, they looked to bring in a VP Product who would play an instrumental role in scaling the Oviva solution with the power of technology to reach their vision of treating 50 million patients by 2025. The task is to create a delightful user experience by automating the human interactions and creating technical solutions that humans could not provide.

Requirements

The successful candidate would bring experience of building mobile products that lead to positive behavioral changes whilst ensuring that the continued international growth of the business is impacted positively through excellence in product. The right candidate needed to bring a strong background in building product teams and mentoring Product Managers.

Result

Erevena identified and introduced David Nydegger to Oviva. His understanding of impacting user behaviour via mobile products and his leadership style resonated well with the founders, Kai and Manuel. David started with Oviva in early May 2020.
