Pebble Post’s CEO and CPO, both industry veterans in the adtech market from Google and MediaMath had more than doubled revenues over 2021 for this Series C scale up, backed by GreyCroft and RRE. It was time to capitalize on that growth by hiring a CTO to evolve their technological moat in sentiment analysis and targeting through their identity graph to continue to offer CMOs a channel with such compelling return on ad spend.
We sought a CTO who was both deeply technical, domain relevant and stage commensurate. The pace at which adtech evolves both in terms of cookie obfuscation and regulatory requirements on personally identifiable data meant there wasn’t time for someone to learn the ropes in role. Whilst Pebble is a remotely operating team, having someone near HQ in New York was also an added bonus.
